About Us

SAPexperts is a collection of nine online knowledgebases accessible through licensed subscriptions: SAP Professional Journal, Financials Expert, BI Expert, HR Expert, SCM Expert, CRM Expert, GRC Expert, Solution Manager Expert, and Project Expert. They each contain hundreds of articles that provide expert-written, expert-validated advice and instruction covering technical and functional topics about your SAP system. We post weekly updates to the knowledgebases.

How to subscribe

You can subscribe in two ways:

  1. Use the online form.
  2. Call us at +1-781-751-8799. We can connect you with a global account manager who can assist you with customizing a subscription package that meets your personal or company needs.

Licenses to the knowledgebase are available for teams of all sizes as well as individual users. Each eligible license holder may access the knowledgebase — using a registered username/personal password — any time 24/7 from any computer with Internet access. You can easily customize licenses to meet the needs of your team or organization.

How to find out if your company already has a license

Please contact our customer service department.

What to do if you are not registered for your company's license

Please contact the individual in your company who administers the license. That person will be able to provide you with the associated link in order to register. If you are not sure who your administrator is, please contact our customer service department.

Where to log in

You can log in from any computer with an Internet connection.

How to upgrade or increase the number of authorized users

You can upgrade or increase the user limit of your subscription at any time. To upgrade a subscription, please contact our customer service department.

Who can make changes to the users on a multi-user license

Only the license administrator can make changes to the users listed on the account.

Searching the site

How to search for an article

There are several search techniques:

  1. Advanced search, which allows you to filter by phrase and date
  2. Category search
  3. Keyword search
  4. Search by publication date
  5. Article index search
  6. Sitemap

You can limit your search to your licensed knowledgebases, or you can search across all of the SAPexperts knowledgebases. If you search a knowledgebase for which you do not have a license, you see just the article title and abstract.

What it means if you can't access an article

It can mean a few different things:

  1. Your license has expired.
  2. You don't have a license to that particular publication.
  3. You have ordered a license, and have not yet paid for it.
  4. You have not accepted the terms of service.

What to do if you get an error message when trying to access an article

If you get an error message, please contact our customer service department. Please be sure to include the URL link of the error notification you received. We will forward it to our Web team. Once the problem is resolved, we will notify you.

The role of the administrator

The administrator is in charge of the users who will have access within their company. The administrator has the ability to add, change, and view user access. Single-user accounts don't have administrators.

Using your account

How to change your password or profile

Once you are logged in to your account, click the "Profile" link at the top right side of the page. From there you can edit your password, address, and job title. Or you can contact our customer service department to request help. Customer Administrators cannot change passwords.

What to do if you forget your password

If you have forgotten your password, please visit the login page. You may retrieve your password there by entering your email address into the gray box.

How to Enable Single Sign-on (SSO)

Single sign-on (SSO) allows users to access all SAPexperts for which they are authorized by logging in once. SSO requires that your browser accept third-party cookies. Firefox and Chrome usually accept third-party cookies by default. If your browser is not set up to accept third-party cookies, follow the directions below.

Internet Explorer

If you use Internet Explorer, follow one of the following two methods to enable single sign-on:

  1. In Internet Explorer, or in the Control Panel, select Internet Options.
  2. In the resulting dialog, click the Privacy tab.

  3. Click the Advanced button to bring up the Advanced Privacy Settings dialog.

  4. Check Override automatic cookie handling.
  5. Select Accept third-party cookies.
  6. Check Always allow session cookies.
  7. Click the OK button.
  8. Click the OK button on the Internet Options dialog to dismiss the dialog.

OR

  1. In Internet Explorer, or in Control Panel, select Internet Options.
  2. In the resulting dialog, click the Privacy tab.

  3. Click the Sites button to bring up the Per Site Privacy Actions dialog.

  4. Enter a domain whose cookie you want the browser to accept. Here, financialsexpertonline.com is the entry.
  5. Click the Allow button to enable all cookies for that domain.
  6. Repeat for each domain you wish to allow.
  7. Click the OK button.
  8. Click the OK button on the Internet Options dialog to dismiss the dialog.

Chrome

If third-party cookies in Chrome are not enabled by default, please follow these directions.

  1. Click on the settings icon.
  2. Click on the Options entry in the menu.
  3. Click Under the Hood in the left nav.
  4. Click the Content settings... button.
  5. In the Cookies section, select the Allow local data to be set (recommended) radio button

  6. Click the Manage exceptions... button.
  7. Enter a domain into the Hostname Pattern field and press the Enter key.

  8. Repeat for each domain to which you want to grant third-party cookie access.

Firefox

If third-party cookies in Firefox are not enabled by default, please follow these directions.

  1. In a version of Firefox using the standard menu bar, select Tools, then Options from the menu bar. OR
  2. In Firefox 4 and 5, with the menu bar disabled, click the orange Firefox button; then select Options from the menu, and Options (again, from the fly-out menu.
  3. Select the Privacy tab.

  4. In the History section, select Use custom settings for history from the drop-down field.
  5. Check Accept cookies from sites and Accept third-party cookies. OR
  6. Uncheck Accept third-party cookies.
  7. Click the Exceptions button.

  8. Enter the domain of a site to which you want to grant third-party cookie access and click the Allow button.
  9. Repeat for each domain to which you want to grant third-party cookie access.

Print Update

The print component of all of the knowledgebases except SAP Professional Journal is a compilation of the updates we have added to the knowledgebase over the last five weeks. It includes one or more full feature articles and excerpts from the other updates, and is mailed to the license administrator. Users receive email reminders about the new updates 10 times a year. The print component of SAP Professional Journal includes full articles and is mailed four times a year.

RSS feeds

You can subscribe to our RSS feed if you want to know immediately when an article is posted, or you can follow us via each knowledgebase's Twitter account.

Asking a question about an article

If you have a question about the article you can contact the author of the article. Their contact information is listed at the end of the article. If you need further assistance, please contact our editorial team.

How to become an SAPexperts author

If you would like to become an SAPexperts Author, please contact our editorial team. The editor will reply and send the author guidelines. The first step is writing a short abstract describing your idea.

Payment

We accept bank wire transfers, company checks, and credit cards (AMEX, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa).

Payment terms are upon receipt.

Cancellation policy

If you decide to cancel your subscription, please contact our customer service department.

Please provide details regarding the reason you need to cancel. We will then terminate your access and issue a credit or refund based on the unused portion of your subscription.

Terms of service

The SAPexperts knowledgebases are the property of Wellesley Information Services and are protected by U.S. and international copyright law and conventions. Under the terms of this license, individual named users on the license account are the only people permitted to access our knowledgebase using the login information assigned to them. They may not share their passwords. They may not distribute printed copies of articles for others, nor may they email articles to others without permission from WIS. Please note also that our articles can never be posted to a Web page, intranet, or network drive. Licensees may not use a script, spider, or other tool to automatically download articles from the database. Violation of any of these terms will result in immediate loss of access privileges and may result in legal action against the individual and the individual's company.
